Fire and Water

Just a small stiching update... I've reached the 1/2 way point with my Fire ACEO! This is the full length of the piece. I have just as much left to do on the right hand side. When I finish her, she will be my most-proud stitching accomplishment to date. Remember, it's stitched over 1, so if it were stitched the traditional way, she would be 4 times as big!!!



We went to Florida this month to visit family and the beach. We stayed in a little place right on the beach on Anna Maria Island. It was the most magical place I've ever been! My soul is truly meant to be near sand and water. It is tortured now, to be so far from it. My life's goal is to someday be close enough to it to see it whenever I choose. Until then, I'll remain always wistful.
